I finished painting my Jet Stream 1000 boat purple and just finished putting it back together. I also gave it a test run in the driveway and am ready to go run it on a lake where I have a boat to go fetch it when it dies. Still needs a tune-up though, but thats almost impossible to do w/o a real load.
I did a few little mods to it, the major one is taking two fuel tanks and glueing them together to give it a larget fuel capacity. I gave it an antenna and cut a hole in the hull cover to let it poke out. I also installed a 3 way on/off switch that lets me charge it w/o removing the radio tray cover which should help a TON over the old system of having to unscrew 4 things, hope they didn’t strip and stuff.
